Floating Roof Tanks and Seals Internal and External

AT&V, Inc. has engineered, constructed, and modified internal and external floating roofs for all types of service. Whether the project requires installation in an existing tank or new construction, AT&V, Inc. will assist in emission considerations, service application and economic evaluation.

Above: This 284' diameter tank was converted from an external pontoon floating roof to an internal floating roof to help reduce emissions and contamination. Conversion required floating roof modifications, new primary seals and secondary seals. This also required API-653 compliance.

Below: This is a 180' diameter new construction external pontoon floating roof constructed with adjustable legs, foam fire fighting system, primary and secondary seals. AT&V, Inc. has designs up to 320' in diameter. AT&V, Inc.'s designs for double deck, pontoon, and pan type roofs all support traditional options or special customer requirements.

Below: This 150' diameter external pontoon floating roof is of a standard pontoon design. Two such roofs were constructed in four weeks for existing tanks. After painting, AT&V, Inc. also installed primary and secondary seals.
